Shrivastva graduated in 1973 as a Mining Engineer (BSc Hons) with a gold medal from the prestigious Indian School of Mines. He has been deeply involved with the Steel, Marble and Limestone industry for over 43 years, of which over 36 years have been spent in the UAE and GCC. Get in Touch Mr. Rajiv N. Mr. Shrivastva started his career as Management Trainee with ICI Group in India in the explosives division. In 1980 he joined the Bramco Group in Bahrain and moved to UAE in 1989. As Group President of Bramco Group up to 2004 he managed companies in UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain engaged in limestone quarrying and crushing, marble mining & processing, steel manufacture and manufacture of aluminum alloys. He was a pioneer of the marble mining industry in Oman. In 2005 he founded the Rocmet Corporation Group. The Group includes Special Steels Factory LLC, Abu Dhabi and Rocmet Corporation FZC, Sharjah for Manufacture steel bars for construction and fabrication, Al Milad General Trading Co. LLC, for marble stock & sales, calcined lime and steel scrap trading and Stone Restorations India (Pvt) Limited, New Delhi for restoration of marble, granite & stone floors. Under his leadership the group has shown strong performance and growth and has achieved a turnover of over AED 150 million. Mr. Shrivastva has been an active member of the business and social fraternity in UAE.
